Note #3
Got up bright and early today easy enough--I was so excited I could hardly sleep, and jumped out of bed as soon as I woke up. I know that sounds strange on election day (I'm optimistic on that front), but today is also the day my wife arrives in the US. She'll be staying for a whole month; it'll be the longest visit we've had.
Sitting at the Bloomington-Normal train station right now. I love passenger rail transit. I'm hoping Peoria's Amtrak station will be up and running within the next decade lol.
I've got a 2.5 hour train ride to Chicago, then I'll be hanging out at Union Station until it's time to catch the L to O'Hare. I'm hoping to write some blog posts and do some drawing.
I'll post notes throughout the day, and will probably have a proper journal entry up this afternoon or later tonight once my wife is home.
To my fellow Americans: Keep Calm-ala and Carry on-ala. We got this! I'm confident that Harris will win.
