quick figure sketch 01
Did a quick little sketch today on my new desk!
I got a standing/sitting desk. One half can be adjusted at a slant. I turned the desk around and lowered it for a better drawing angle. I like the ergonomics but it makes my elbow hurt lol. At this point I'm not sure if I'll ever find a 100% comfortable drawing position. I'll keep figuring it out.
Poked around looking for figure references and bought this pack for a dollar! (It says it's free in the title, but that's only with a coupon. Still, $1 for 250 images is a steal.)
I'm gonna be taking another figure drawing course this fall and I really want to brush up before then and start sketching regularly again.
I draw on my Lenovo Yoga L13 Thinkpad in Krita using David Revoy's 2023 brush pack. For this sketch I also used the new paper texture pack they released to celebrate 100k YouTube subscribers! At this point I can't draw or paint digitally without some sort of texture.
Total sketch time: ~19 minutes.
