quick figure sketch 02
Another sketch! Gonna try doing at least one per day.
I found a really cool website, cubebrush.co that has a lot of great figure references. Just go to 2D Assets > Stock Photos > People. They offer basic and commercial licenses for most image packs as well.
I found this image in the pack I bought for $1 yesterday. I really liked the dynamic angles and the strong through-line the leg creates.
Total drawing time was about ~30 minutes. I went slower, blocking out the shapes and paying attention to angles. Part of what I love about figure drawing is how geometric the process is...it's all about finding shapes and angles and ratios.
I got fed up at a certain point and decided to call it quits haha.
